How To Listen
iPhone / iPod touch
Please click here to view our iPhone/iPod touch version of the website. You may also listen to our live stream on the go! To listen to the stream please ensure you have a 3G or Wifi connection and you have OS version 3.1 or higher.
You can also download our new iphone app for free from the itunes app store.
DAB
You can listen to Yorkshire Radio on DAB Digital Radio across Yorkshire. If you have just bought a DAB Radio auto tune and search for stations and then scroll through the stations alphabetically to find Yorkshire Radio. To check coverage in your area go to www.ukdigitalradio.com and use the postcode checker or contact Yorkshire Radio.
Sky
You can also listen to Yorkshire Radio on Sky channel 0209. Go to the RADIO section on your channel guide and search for Yorkshire Radio or go straight to channel 0209. You can't hear full match commentary of Leeds United games on Sky due to national football rights but wil get all the build up, half time analysis and the post match phone in and will hear music during the game itself.
FM
You can hear Leeds United games on 104.7FM on a matchday as part of the Yorkshire Radio network on a Saturday between 2-6pm and mid week games 7-10.30pm.
Online
You can listen on line by clicking Listen Live on the home page of yorkshireradio.net. You can also listen to Yorkshire Radio on your iPhone without an application by clicking Listen Live. You can't hear full match commentary of Leeds United games on line due to national football rights but you will get updates on the game and other Yorkshire Football fixtures. You can also find us on-line via Radioplayer, just go to www.radioplayer.co.uk and search for Yorkshire Radio.
LUTV
You can get on line commentary from Yorkshire Radio of all Leeds United games by subscribing to LUTV via www.leedsunited.com.
Mobile/Internet Radio
For non iphone compatible mobile devices which have streaming capability or internet radio sets please use the following link http://streaming.planetwideradio.com:8080/listen.pls. Please note this link has changed since the launch of our new site recently.

- Can I do work experience at Yorkshire Radio?
Unfortunately we only accept University students doing media on work placements and can not give placements to anyone aged under 21.

If you are a broadcast professional and want to work at Yorkshire Radio then please send a demo and CV to Programme Controller, Yorkshire Radio, Elland Road, Leeds LS11 0ES. Please don't email the station.
close [x] - I want to listen to Leeds United commentary online or on Sky channel 0209?
Yorkshire Radio only has regional right to broadcast Leeds United games on DAB and 104.7fm across Yorkshire so we can't put games online or on Sky channel 0209 as they are broadcast nationally. If you want to listen to our commentary online or outisde Yorkshire then you need to subscribe to LUTV via leedsunited.com.

If you are having problems listening to the streaming then check you have the latest version of flash on you computer and a fast internet connection. If you continue to have problems contact us by email.

Since the launch of our new site we have upgraded our stream, the location for the new stream can be found at http://streaming.planetwideradio.com:8080/listen.pls. Please ensure this is updated as the old stream will no longer work.

The radio player launches a pop-up window, however sometimes firewalls and other security software blocks the pop-up. If you are using Internet Explorer please see the Internet Explorer guide for a guide on how to unblock the pop-up window. If you are using firefox please see the Mozilla guide. Alternatively if you have installed a google toolbar you want to check out the Google Pop-up blocker guide
