Ben Fry

Ben started broadcasting from his bedroom at the age of 9 to his friends and neighbours till someone complained and made him remove the speakers from the garden as they had no interest in the public service broadcasting he thought he was providing.

From there Ben joined Minster FM in York whilst still at school and soon graduated from making tea to answering the phones on the late night show.

As with many budding presenters a freak snow storm gave Ben his big chance on air with the scheduled presenter stuck in a snow drift.

The East Coast was the next stop for Ben with a stint on every show at Yorkshire Coast Radio before presenting the Big Fun Breakfast for 18 months which included a stint in Panto (photo's available on request).

Ben presents Yorkshire Today between 12pm and 3pm.

Richard Stead

Richard's career has followed a very similar path to Ben's (no one knows who is following who) starting at Minster FM in York on work experience and moving on to present the most popular Evening Show in the station history.

Richard is a passionate Yorkshire Man through and through, living in the County his entire life.

He counts Football, Cricket, Rugby League and Racing as his Sports of choice and will keeping Yorkshire up to date on Sporting matters every weekday between 4pm and 7pm.

Michael Weadock

Michael is Yorkshire Radio's match day presenter and will be there every step of the way for Leeds United's season hosting all our pre matc h build up and fronting our post match analysis alongside Eddie Gray.

Michael also presents our Saturday show during the Summer so you can't get away from him even when the football season has finished.

Thom Kirwin

Thom is Yorkshire Radio's Yorkshire Sport Correspondent and Leeds United commentator, if it's happening in the White Rose County Thom will be telling you about it.

As a life long Leeds United fan and Season Ticket holder Thom asks the questions the fans want answering from the Manager, Players and maybe even The Chairman.

Thom is joined at every Leeds game by Leeds Legend Eddie Gray.

He also follows the reserves and provides updates from all reserve home and away games.

MIKE ROSSITER

Mike follows Rugby League, Rugby Union and Cricket for Yorkshire radio and is more well known at Hedingley than Ronnie The Rhino!

Mike has also made his name for his legendary monthly interviews on all cricketing matters with John Stern from The Wisden Cricketer, the interviews have been known to last longer than some test matches!

JONNY BUCHAN

Jonny follows football for Yorkshire Radio keeping listeners up to date with everyting happening for our Yorkshire sides from the Premier League to League 2.

He also presents the Yorkshire Score Board during Leeds United games on Sky channel 0209 keeping satellite listeners up to date and playing Music With Balls!

Jonny also has a passion for anything with an engine and brings motor racing to the airwaves every month with Jonny Buchan's Full Throttle!

DARREN HARPER

Darren gets up at 5am, 5 days a week fo rthe cause which you have to admire to present Breakfast With Balls - The Best Music and all the lates Yorkshire Sport.
