About Us

Yorkshire Radio Mag started as a way to make sense of the crowded world of online and broadcast radio: too many stations claiming the same genre, too many apps with confusing interfaces, and not enough honest comparison between them.

The team listens before writing. Station reviews come from tuning in across different times of day and checking stream reliability, not from press releases, and our listening guides are built around genres and moods rather than whichever station happens to advertise loudest.

When we recommend radios, streaming devices or related gear, we link to them through the Amazon Associates program and may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases.

We cover everything from small internet-only stations to long-running regional broadcasters, choosing what to feature based on sound quality, programming variety and whether a station is easy to actually find and listen to.

Questions, station tips or corrections are always welcome, and you can reach the team through the contact page.
